The terms that govern bookings, use of the property, and use of this website.
Bookings & payment
A reservation is confirmed once the required deposit is received. 50% of the reservation cost is due at booking, with the balance due 30 days before arrival; bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking. Rates and availability are subject to confirmation.
Cancellations
Cancellations are governed by our cancellation policy: a 95% refund is available more than 30 days before arrival, and reservations are non-refundable within 30 days of arrival.
Guest responsibilities
- Guests must comply with all house rules, including occupancy limits, quiet hours, and the no-pets and no-smoking policies.
- The primary guest must be at least 25 years old and is responsible for all members of their party.
- Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear, and for fees arising from policy violations.
Liability
Use of the property, its amenities (including the hot tub, sauna and fire pit) and surrounding areas is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smokies Chalet Escapes is not liable for injury, loss or damage to persons or property during your stay. We recommend appropriate travel and personal insurance.
Property & surroundings
The chalet is located in a natural mountain setting where wildlife, weather and terrain conditions vary. Guests accept these conditions as part of the mountain experience and agree to exercise reasonable care.
